What researchers examine
Experimental studies have explored angiogenesis, endothelial signaling, granulation tissue, tendon models, and gastrointestinal injury models. An early in vivo paper compared new-vessel and granulation-tissue formation across BPC-157 and several established gastroprotective agents. More recent mechanistic work continues to investigate signaling pathways, but this does not establish a validated human use.
How to interpret the evidence
Animal wound models are not consumer benefit claims. Outcomes depend on species, injury method, route, timing, and material identity. Human safety, pharmacokinetics, reproducibility, and clinical efficacy have not been established by the cited work. Researchers should also verify the complete sequence, salt or counterion, purity method, and analytical report rather than relying on the short name BPC-157.
